The nose cap has a recess to hold a cotton swab for a moisture trap, it has a slot for insertion of a coin to remove or tighten the trap. The bowl must be removed with a screwdriver due to the saddle fit of the bowl
The manufacturer gauranteed the pipe forever, should nay part wear out, break or be damaged in anyway, the ppe could be returned to maker with 25 cents for handling and postage, and a replacement would be sent out immediately. It is unlikely that this service is still available !
