LINDBERGH SPIRALO, made in France, has a 4 start thread which will accept Falcon Alco bowls ..confusion with the Kayos Spiralo, which is identical in every way Thanks to Roelof van der Kleij in the Netherlands for letting us know about the insert, which obviously is how the pipe got its name. Roelof says it was almost impossible to clean the insert (that is what neglecting regular cleaning of pipes leads to). He solved the problem by ultrasonic cleaning in alcohol. Alcohol we may all has a supply of, but ultra sonic cleaners ?. Luckily I do have such a device and it can be very useful. Also just discovered a seemingly identical pipe stamped CHABOT GA, except that the Chabot has a single start thread Length overall 5 1/2 inch (140 m/m) |
