ARCADIA Air cooled

Department : METAL STEM & Threaded bowl
ARCADIA..according to it's box, the Arcadia new air cooled filter pipe..London Royal New York NY. probably from 1940's
The only difference between this and the Stirling would appear to be the Arcadia has a screw in stem, with a metal thread, whereas the Stirling has a push fit, all vulcanite stem
Overall length 6 inches [153 m/m] A beautiful and not common aluminum system pipe called the Arcadia Air-Cooled Pipe and probably dates from the 1940s when there was a boom in these fascinating aluminum pipes after WW 2. A very nice American design from the Art Deco, Machine Age, Mid Century period. Here in its original box and pipe sock that both read: Arcadia NEW AIR-COOLED FILTER PIPE LONDON ROYAL NEW YORK, N.Y. Measures 6 inches long is very well designed with aluminum shank and screw-in bowl.
